I created 2x 1.8Mb filesystems in files to mount as floppies in virtualbox 11.2 machines. The ext2 fs in the VM gives only $ mount -t ext2 /dev/fd0 /mnt mount: stale NFS file handle The vfat 'floppy' mounts, the filesystem can be listed but the files (created by mounting the filesystem in the physical machine) are apparently empty. HAL apparently doesn't see either filesystem. Both filesystems work as expected in the physical machine.
