In addition to network services becoming unavailable, the network applet makes plasma freeze for a long ammount of time when it is clicked. It also does not display correctly - only the borders of the network manager are drawn, but nothing else. Plasma then freezes.

Can you add the following to /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf, restart NetworkManager.service, and provide the logs with this detailed NetworkManager logs?
