So far, so good. However k3b always fails to erase the medium (with no good reason given). Only if you open the tray, then explicitly choose "erase CD-RW", and then press "load medium", erasing the medium will succeed (while GNOME will pop up "unable to mount media"). This is very bad usability and should be improved.
