Don't quite understand this. I know you are a experienced dev so you must know what you are talking about. Are the hyper-v drivers not part of the kernel. I know when I installed 12.1 on hyper-v it just works (except for the install kexec bug).
The spec file is prepared to optionally build a KMP package.
