[Bug 463449] New: timeout for crypto
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=463449 Summary: timeout for crypto Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Alpha 0 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: axel.braun@gmx.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- I was updating from 10.3 to 11.1, using an encrypted /home partition. The timeout to enter the crypto-passphrase is set quite tight for an unattended boot process. In 10.3, I just changed the timeout to 0, which lets the system wait for a passphrase entry. In 11.1, this seems not to work any longer. For 11.2, it would be great if you could steer this with a /etc/sysconfig variable. For 11.1, a hint on how I can disable the timeout is appreciated. So overriding the timeout parameter should still be possible. But I agree that making this configurable via /etc/sysconfig is probably the best idea. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I'll keep the idea of having a sysconfig file for the default in the back of my head. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
