[Bug 910147] New: Shellinabox keyboard fix for Firefox does not work correctly
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=910147 Bug ID: 910147 Summary: Shellinabox keyboard fix for Firefox does not work correctly Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: 13.2 Hardware: All OS: openSUSE 13.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: f+novell@congenio.de QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:34.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/34.0 Build Identifier: When a Shellinabox session is used via Firefox (e.g. the Windows version 34.0), some of the keys cannot be entered. From a german keyboard, for example, the '\' and '~' keys cannot be entered. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. start Shellinabox 2. open it via Firefox Actual Results: Some keys cannot be entered. Expected Results: All keyboard inputs should be applicable. This is a well-known problem with Shellinabox since Firefox 15, and it has been addressed in openSUSE by a specific patch (0001-add-new-keyCodes-used-by-FF15.patch). The patch seems to stem from this thread: https://code.google.com/p/shellinabox/issues/detail?id=202 In the same thread, there is a better patch, namely "shellinabox-2.14-ff15.patch", which does the job better IMHO. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
