Append them to boot options before installation ( http://en.opensuse.org/Linuxrc - look for 'proxy' option). So you would boot with 'proxy=http://your.proxy.somewhere:8080' 2. Do a manual installation - boot with 'manual=1' option. You'll be presented a lot of questions to answer, one of them is also proxy setup 3. Opt for including add-on product from separate media and pick community repositories - if the network is not running yet, a simple network configuration dialog will be shown. I risked my life to download the DVD (network administrators bad) and I use the DVD! I ask you, if possible, in a small option in opensese 11.3 to easily enter the proxy during installation if possible, it is easy and not hidden. Then who is using it otherwise it remains disabled.
