If SendReceive2() fails we jump to tcon_error_exit label and indeed use rsp
without checking it. I've added a NULL check in that error code. Thank you for
your initial findings.

This will add an extra kernel. Reboot, select the new kernel in the GRUB menu
(with kernel-default-4.13.3-1.1.g9775195) and try again.
As a side note, turns out Ronnie Sahlberg has just sent a patch upstream for
this too... (weird coincidence for a bug introduced 6 years ago).
