I was installing onto an ext4 file system. Need to find out what that exit status means. Will get back to you with more hardware details. I ran a media check on my dvd and it came up error free. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Don't know if you can reproduce it - it didn't happen on any other of my 32bit installs. 2.Run a 32 bit 11.3 install and the problem will occur during the installation step. 3. Actual Results: If you ignore all the errors, you will get a system that won't boot because the boot loader wasn't installed.
