Adam, it is a tall order to go and fix an inherently unstable driver like the radeon one, especially for 11.0. 11.1 is out soon, can you upgrade to that and see whether the problem still exists there? How can I be sure what driver the system is using, I am almost tempted to let SaX2 rerun so it can re-detect my card.
