Future use of the Save as dialogue in the same document does not cause freeze. Using KDE 4.6 in Opensuse 11.4 64 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start a new docment in writer 2. Select Save As dialogue 3. Is there nothing useful in the strace log? I have done two completely clean installs of Opensuse 11.4 on the same computer using different mediums (2 full DVDs downloaded separately). I guess it may be specific to my computer - a Lenovo SL512 thinkpad.
