This is a real nuisance when you edit a file like fstab, because it wraps long lines when you edit them, and repeats the first non-letter character, like: /dev/hdd8 /home1 xfs /noatime,nodiratime,auto 1 2 ^ See the "/" before the "noatime"? This is added by jstar when it wraps the line. If you don't see it and simply unwrap the line, you get a broken fstab file. So, the idea is to disable automatic wrapping by default for root (or all), instead of having to remember to disable the feature every time we start jstar aka joe. I edit the /etc/joe/jstarrc file, the line: -wordwrap Wordwrap I have tried: --wordwrap Wordwrap -wordwrap Wordwrap --wordwrap Wordwrap -wordwrap Wordwrap --wordwrap Wordwrap -wordwrap Wordwrap --wordwrap Wordwrap [TAB]-wordwrap Wordwrap [TAB]--wordwrap Wordwrap But wordwrap remains active every time: it can not be disabled, contrary to documentation. However, if I write: wordwrap Wordwrap it says there is an error, so the line is certainly read. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
