https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=779584 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=779584#c0 Summary: Cycles Render Engine scripts are not found by Blender3D Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.2 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 12.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: eliaschr_mh_corp@yahoo.com QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.4 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/22.0.1226.0 Safari/537.4 SUSE/22.0.1226.0 Cylces is the new Render engine in Blender3D. After the installation of Blender3D from the community repositories, Cycles is not in the list of the available render engines. When searching for Cycles in the addons list, I found it but with a message announcing that the Cycles scripts could not be found. According to the Blender3D team this must be a packaging problem... Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Run Blender3D 2. Go to File -> User Preferences... (CTRL+ALT+U) 3. Select the Addons tab on the new dialog box 4. From the Categories list (at the left side) select Enabled Actual Results: At the bottom of the list there is an addon called "cycles", having a small exclamation mark icon and the message "Missing script files". The addon is also marked as enabled. Expected Results: At the main window there should be the "Cycles" option in the list of available render engines (the last dropdown list at the menu bar, on top of the window) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I don't see how this bug would fit into that category. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
