while the patch is surely nice to have, it's not causing the problem seen with libsmbclient. samba just didn't built against new kerberos because of the recent talloc/tdb/ldb split submitted only partially due to legal reviews.
Also a nice solution :)
Meanwhile this should be fixed for factory (by bypassing legal agreement :)
