I used the guided partitioner but upon reaching the summary page a red error message appeared. Ignoring the message and going forward with the installation resulted in another error at the grub2-installation step. However, the system rebooted without a problem. ## Setup - Two VirtIO disks, 20GB each - Leap 15.1 Build 415.2 DVD ISO ## Installation steps I took - Choose Generic Desktop Role) - Use Guided Partitioner - Select both /dev/vda and /dev/vdb - Select /dev/vda for root parition - Enable LVM - Stick to proposed defaults (btrfs with snapshots, separate swap partition) - Choose utc timezone - Create user - Install system, ignoring error messages - An error popup complains about grub2-installation failure - Reboot after installation is successful -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

(4) Why is by-path used for device names here?
Reason is strategy for picking udev links documented at https://github.com/yast/yast-bootloader/blob/master/src/lib/bootloader/udev_... And because disk does not have uuid neither label, it prefers path over id. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
