According to bug 593561 the page http://eid.belgium.be/fr/ states that the version 2.6 of the eid middleware is not supported as from 01/01/2010. If it is true, then it makes no sense to fix these packages. There is a pending request to upgrade to the new project eid-mw: bug 593561. I already created packages, but without having a Belgian eID, I have only a minimal chance to fix errors that are happening there. I don't even have permission to make any changes in the eIDconfig-belgium project. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=697055 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=697055#c3 --- Comment #3 from Eric Feron <Eric_Feron@carrefour.com> 2011-06-16 08:41:09 UTC --- If this version is not supported anymore, the package should be suppressed from software.opensuse.org. The problem is : the new package is not ready and it seems there isn't any activity for solving the bug 593561 for 2 months now. Can you update the status of this bug ? I will then try this new package. Thank you in advance. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I maintained the eID-belgium package, because I maintain all smart card packages. But I am not a Belgian citizen. I don't have any testing eID cards nor readers used in Belgium. I don't have any testing access to the Belgium eID database. I can hardly debug this package. Jo De Baer may provide more information. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
