The log file shows the association with AP times out after resume: May 20 19:56:08 linux-65kc NetworkManager: <info> Activation (wlan0/wireless): association took too long. /var/log/wpa_supplicant.log file contains the log of what it did, but since it has no timestamps, it's hard to see what it did at that specific time. And still doesn't find the requested AP. So NM thinks the credentials did not match and asks the user for the new ones. There was a bug in NM access point reference counting, causing NM to keep the list of available APs on wakeup. So NM's and supplicant's idea of available networks did not match.
