I ran an update with the update applet - clicking on the nice red triangle icon
in the status bar.
That gave me a dialog, I clicked 'Install', it did it's thing and showed me
'success.png':
"Update successful!"
"All updates have been applied successfully.
Enjoy your day!"
To risk so much exclamation demands a solid implementation IMHO. Anyhow,
pleased it had updated. I click 'OK'.
The status bar icon stays as a Chameleon with two partial arrows rotating
clockwise, however clicking it again reveals 'misleading.png' - showing the 10
updates are still there, but not installable (insensitive 'Install' buttton.
* Why - if the updated failed, did it report success and not some meaningful
message ? :-)

- new defaults for the force-resolution solver mode:
'on' by default in the interactive mode,
'off' by default in the non-interactive.
'on' is the default for rug-compatible mode (even non-interact.).
