[Bug 380292] New: allow user defined action on finishment of update process
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=380292 Summary: allow user defined action on finishment of update process Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Alpha 0 Platform: Other OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: estellnb@gmail.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: Customer Especially during more extensive updates or upgrades the user may be forced to leave. For some other tasks the upgrade in progress may consume too much of certain decisive system resouces. For such a case it should be possible to select an on-update-finished action like s2ram, s2disk, s2both, shutdown, kde-session-refreshment(X-log-in-out), an accustic bell that can ring a user being nearby around back or even something completely user defined and different like launching a calculation or disk access intensive job that can not be feasibly performed alongside with the upgrade. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
