Why has this been removed? If https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=418981 was the rationale, https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=418981#c14 surely demonstrates that it was incorrect.
No, that was not the rationale. Today is the first time I see that report. The actual reason is that pretty much none of the applications utilizing telemetry had their policies and configuration reviewed, which was a required according to the agreed policy. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

However, for those of us to whom privacy isn't a concern, how are we to re-enable it? Additionally, and more importantly, has an issue been filed upstream to remediate this? After all, if not, this'll merely mean that OpenSUSE diverges from upstream without attempting to remediate the origin of the problem.
