It's a YaST problem, so don't do any more in this bug report. YaST sound setup isn't needed at all for your system. To get a clean state, try to reboot once, then play xmms. If the speaker output doesn't work at this state, run "set_default_volume -f". If this doesn't help, run alsa-info.sh again and upload the generated file. If xmms is working, it means that the sound driver is basically OK.
