The default set of installed packages is defined by patterns.
Note: as "imagewriter" depends on the Qt library is should be probably added to some KDE or X11 pattern...
on GNOME, we have gnome-multi-writer (allows writing the same ISO to multiple USB sticks in parallel), so adding imagewriter to all installs is not really useful (duplicating features) OTOH, having the tool installed by default is debatable: a user that wants to test out openSUSE Will not be running openSUSE and thus, having imagewriter installed, won't help. imagewriter itself is largely unmaintained (came from the time of SUSE Studio), the current maintainer even just asked to give up on it completely -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
