'dhcpcd-test eth0' shows that NISSERVERS is sent correctly, /etc/sysconfig/network/config: NETWORKMANAGER="yes" NETCONFIG_MODULES_ORDER contains nis. NETCONFIG_NIS_POLICY="auto" NETCONFIG_NIS_SETDOMAINNAME="yes" NETCONFIG_NIS_STATIC_* are empty /etc/yp.conf is an "empty" (just comments) file autogenerated by netconfig.
