[Bug 744581] New: boot.rootfsck skips remount,rw on battery
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=744581 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=744581#c0 Summary: boot.rootfsck skips remount,rw on battery Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.2 Version: Factory Platform: All OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: ro@suse.com ReportedBy: bwiedemann@suse.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Development Blocker: --- Created an attachment (id=473814) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=473814) proposed fix I have an ARM system (genesi efika MX smartbook) running openSUSE Factory and found that boot.rootfsck skips not only fsck, but also the remount,rw when running on battery. This is normally not visible, because most systems don't have batteries, normal boots do not include the "ro" kernel param or have an initrd, that does fsck and remount, but since both kernel and mkinitrd are not working on this system, I used the original kernel with it's Ubuntu-made initrd (which works fine when not on battery). Please include attached patch in Factory -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
