The latter is present in projects which added SLE-11 SP1 support quite recently
this is because the SP1 repos are migrated automatically from SLE-11, but not renamed
@adrian: Any reason why renaming the repo (while leaving the path elements untouched) is dangerous?
i believe that renaming hurts because the repository URL is changed (and thus it breaks for people who added the path to their zypper). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Right, I didn't think about that. So it's too late to change that, but in the future we should do it properly and add another repository to the project. The old ones should remain unmodified. Anyway, this is slightly off-topic, I suspect the bug can be closed as invalid. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Let me ask a quick related question then. Is it safe to use SLE_11 OBS repositories on SLES_11_SP1 then? Still figuring out my way around this.
in this case yes, because the "SLE_11" repo is SP1 in disguise -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
