I'm getting the following diagnostic messages: Reloading folder...something wrong with the summary.... Making error Reloading folder...something wrong with the summary.... evolution-mail-Message: Error occurred while existing dialogue active: Authentication failed Reloading folder...something wrong with the summary.... Making error This happens when evolution is contacting the Groupwise server to check for new mail. Version info: evolution-2.24.1.1-4.14.1 evolution-data-server-2.24.1.1-5.12.1 After I reverted to the 25-Feb-2009 updates evolution-2.24.1.1-4.13.3 evolution-data-server-2.24.1.1-5.11.2 the problems disappeared, although I'm still seeing the "Reloading folder..." diagnostic. It's still the same data-server that was giving me trouble, but a newer client. I have the feeling that it has something to do with automatic refreshing of the content of folders. Only when I select a folder, by clicking it in the left pane, its contents are refreshed. But there's no "New Mail" notification whatsoever. I have loads of messages like: evolution-mail-Message: Error occurred while existing dialogue active: Authentication failed Reloading folder...something wrong with the summary.... Weird thing: I get the same messages, but automatic refreshing of folders now seems to work. Only difference in the GUI. With the previous data-server I don't get an "Authentication failed" button in the status bar. The number 778 items only seems to match with the Trash folder.
