[Bug 1199873] New: suse-module-tools: don't rely on files in /boot
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1199873 Bug ID: 1199873 Summary: suse-module-tools: don't rely on files in /boot Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem Assignee: martin.wilck@suse.com Reporter: lnussel@suse.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Blocks: 1184804 Found By: --- Blocker: --- suse-module-tools has several scripts that rely on legacy symlinks in /boot: /usr/lib/module-init-tools/weak-modules2 and /usr/lib/module-init-tools/driver-check.sh want to access "/boot/System.map-$krel". Should be be /usr/lib/modules/$krel/System.map instead. Similar to how it's done for symver.gz in weak-modules2. driver-check.sh lacks the fallback also for symvers.gz. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
