I am still able to ssh in from remote Desktop is not responding and CTRL-ALT-F1 etc is not working I think this may have happened in the released version of OpenSuSE 11.3 as well. It happened again on the standard OpenSuSE 11.4. I have now installed drm-nouveau as requested, but since then it hasn't crashed. It was VERY slow / practivally locked up on a few occasions, but started working again after a minute or two. Most recent hangs were when I was running on batteries. Unfortunately most of these times, I was not connected to a network either so it was not possible to ssh in and dump the logs.
