Clifford, what exactly fails?
Hello, I always use the remote install via VNC feature and it works fine in openSUSE 11.1 After the DVD boots I just type vnc=1 vncpassword=PASSWORD and the setup automatically starts VNC install so that the installation can continue via the http connection e.g. http://ipaddress:5801 But in openSUSE 11.2 and openSUSE 11.3 I type the same vnc=1 vncpassword=PASSWORD but the installation just continues as a normal install. The remote install feature of openSUSE is a wonder and I have installed servers in London from Dubai!!! Please try and make sure it works in my new openSUSE 11.3 Pleaseeeeee! For 11.2, adding Xvnc should help. Like booting with 'dud=ftp://foo/bar/xorg-x11-Xvnc.rpm'.

Well I checked openSUSE 11.3 RC2 and it does not work when you type vnc=1 vncpassword=PASSWORD But after going through the documentation of Linuxrc http://en.opensuse.org/Linuxrc This works!! vnc=1 vncpassword=password netsetup=dhcp So I think still something needs to be done to make sure the default DHCP option works which is the problem when only vnc=1 vncpassword=PASSWORD is given. For 64bit vnc=1 vncpassword=password netsetup=dhcp works. I strongly feel that an updated media must be released (openSUSE 11.31)after a while with all ths minor bugs cleaned!
