I´ve tried it from mounted iso and also from burned cd, under openSUSE and under Windows XP also. I have tried many configurations: Expanding hdd images, fixed images, No ACPI, failsafe, disabling usb, etc. In some cases, the desktop becomes gray, in others the desktop is just frozen. This problem can only be investigated by login via ssh to the machine with the LiveCD running.
