When I open Konqueror and go in some rep, if from the console I create or remove a file in this folder, there is no notification of file modification so I have to refresh manually the display with F5. this bug is corrected here in the description but not applied : http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=106394 Can you repair and deploy a new package ? It seems fam-server isn't installed by default. Install it and launch it seems to resolve the case. In some others distribs KDE is patched to use inotify which is more efficient than fam.
