It is not a problem of udev. But it could lead to a feature request for udev: Pass and make possible to add rules bound to a particular USB ports.

You can already do that, see comment #11. Just match for ATTRS{busnum} and ATTRS{devpath}, e.g. devpath=8.1: device is plugged into port 1 of a hub plugged in port 8 of another (root)hub. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
