Example: http://repos.opensuse.org/home:/AdrianSuSE/SUSE_Linux_10.1/repodata/repoview... On the website it says, the package (arch: x86_64) is 28.32MiB (so in Mebibyte) and the downloadsize of the RPM is just a bit more than 15.5MB Megabyte Maybe it's just a conversation between MiB and MB, but the two numbers should usually be relativley close (and here we're almost factor 2 away) 1 Mebibyte (MiB) = 2^20 Bytes = 1048576 bytes 1 Megabyte (MB) = 10^6 Bytes = 1000000 bytes So for the file above with 15.5 MB this would give a size of 14.78MiB I hope something out of this is understandable. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

And this is correctly 28MB for amarok. So this is an enhancement request for repoview to show the size of the compressed package in addition to the disk space occupied by the installed software.
