[Bug 859711] XDMCP has not worked since 11.4
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=859711 --- Comment #30 from Wolfgang Bauer <wbauer@tmo.at> --- (In reply to James Knott from comment #29)
There's nothing in .xsession-errors, .xsession-errors is empty, but you should have files named like .xsession-error-:0.
but every time it fails, I get this in kdm.log:
The XKEYBOARD keymap compiler (xkbcomp) reports:
Warning: Compat map for group 2 redefined Using new definition Warning: Compat map for group 3 redefined Using new definition Warning: Compat map for group 4 redefined Using new definition Errors from xkbcomp are not fatal to the X server The XKEYBOARD keymap compiler (xkbcomp) reports: Warning: Symbol map for key <RALT> redefined Using last definition for conflicting fields Warning: Symbol map for key <KPDL> redefined Using last definition for conflicting fields Warning: Type "ONE_LEVEL" has 1 levels, but <RALT> has 2 symbols Ignoring extra symbols Errors from xkbcomp are not fatal to the X server
That's normal even for local logins, and as the message indicates this is no error. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
