WARNING: machine type mismatch:
crash utility: PPC
vmlinux-2.6.27.7-9-ppc64: PPC64
NOTE: You might want to try the 'crosscrash' tool which is
distributed in the 'crosscrash' package on SUSE Linux.
crash: vmlinux-2.6.27.7-9-ppc64: not a xen ELF core file
crash: diskdump / compressed kdump: dump does not have panic dump header
crash: vmlinux-2.6.27.7-9-ppc64: not a supported file format
Usage:
crash [-h [opt]][-v][-s][-i file][-d num] [-S] [mapfile] [namelist] [dumpfile]
Enter "crash -h" for details
========================
As mentioned in 'NOTE' of above message used "crosscrash" to produce the
following error

========================
Error in crash tool seems like 64 bit compatibility issue of the 32bit crash
tool
# file /usr/bin/crash
/usr/bin/crash: ELF 32-bit MSB executable, PowerPC or cisco 4500, version 1
(SYSV), for GNU/Linux
2.6.4, dynamically linked (uses shared libs), stripped
# uname -a
Linux llm62 2.6.27.7-9-ppc64 #1 SMP 2008-12-04 18:10:04 +0100 ppc64 ppc64 ppc64
GNU/Linux
# rpm -qf /usr/bin/crash
crash-4.0.7.4-8.3
CPU type: power 6
crosscrash is not ready on PPC. Sorry.
crash should be 64 bit. But it's 32 bit. I agree that this is completely
useless. Dirk/Anja, can we release the 64 bit crash on ppc/openSUSE as
maintenance update. Just as it is, but 64 bit.
I disabled build now for 32 bit PPC to prevent that in future.

- Don't build on 32 bit PPC to prevent distribution of 32 bit
PPC packages. Since kdump doesn't exist on ppc and crash-ppc
cannot read ppc64 (ELF64) dumps, such a package doesn't have
any practical benefit.
