[Bug 332074] New: xdm init script doesn't allow removal 'acpid' for systems not supporting ACPI
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=332074 Summary: xdm init script doesn't allow removal 'acpid' for systems not supporting ACPI Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: suse+build@de-korte.org QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Customer /etc/init.d/xdm lists 'acpid' as 'Required-Start'. On systems that don't support ACPI, this dependency makes it impossible to 'insserv -r acpid'. While I understand that we want to make sure that 'acpid' is running before firing up xdm, couldn't we do this by adding this under 'Should-Start'? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
