[Bug 1136402] New: ssh broke with 15.1
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1136402 Bug ID: 1136402 Summary: ssh broke with 15.1 Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 15.1 Hardware: 64bit OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Network Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: regisztracio@bmiklos.hu QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created attachment 806055 --> http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/attachment.cgi?id=806055&action=edit ssh -vvv output on openSUSE 15.0 I have a RHEL7 server at work which I use through ssh, sometimes even from home from my openSUSE Laptop. With 15.0 everything worked fine. With 15.1 I just can't connect to that server. After a long weekend of configuration, I came to the conclusion that the problem is with the new release. Steps I used for reproducing the issue: 1. Install openSUSE 15.0 with zero configuration, just the default values everywhere. 2. ssh succeeds (-vvv output attached) 3. Install openSUSE 15.1 with zero configuration, just the default values everywhere. 4. ssh fails (-vvv output will be attached) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Quote: Because vmnat do not recognise AF21/CS1 DSCP flags, it'll send back a RST packet (don't know why) immediately upon received any packet having either flags, and finally break all ssh connection. (This happens soon after authentication since IPQoS applies during channel establish) [2] -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
