[Bug 384019] New: timezone selector in installer should have timezone boundaries
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=384019 Summary: timezone selector in installer should have timezone boundaries Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Beta 1 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: ajorgensen@novell.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- I like the new timezone selector but the state boundaries it gives make me uncomfortable. It always bothered me to say that I live in Denver, CO when really I lived in Provo, UT. Now when I use this selector I can't click on my own state. Now this may sound like a very minor issue and really it is but it may actually cause a problem in some countries. If two countries who are enemies have the same time zone it could be construed as openSUSE favoring one of those countries over another. I would rather not have state boundaries drawn at all but the ideal would be to have timezone boundaries drawn. If state boundaries are to be drawn they should be very subtle. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
