Did the clips change maybe? If not, can you open a bug report on https://bugs.kde.org with as much details as possible? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

That seems to have fixed it. I just loaded in several projects and they all worked. Can that be pushed through on the next Snapshot?
Submitted to factory. No idea if that will fix the OP issue since he didn't answer. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1161548 http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1161548#c6 Wolfgang Bauer <wbauer@tmo.at> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |wbauer@tmo.at --- Comment #6 from Wolfgang Bauer <wbauer@tmo.at> --- These errors could occur if the clips in the project use codecs not supported by the installed ffmpeg libraries. Maybe the reporter didn't install the Packman versions, but the clips are encoded in formats not supported by openSUSE's versions for legal reasons... The AppImage probably includes its own (full-featured) copies that made it work. FWIW, I quickly created a simple project right now with Leap 15.1's kdenlive 18.12.3 (18.04 might have been a typo) and tried to load it in the latest 19.12.1 (self-built branch from the KDE repos), no problems here. Then I switched ffmpeg and libav* to the standard openSUSE versions, and I got the same error dialog. -> For me this bug report seems to be invalid. The reporter should add the Packman repo and do a full switch to it (as usual for multimedia stuff). But let's wait for a response a little more. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1161548 http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1161548#c7 --- Comment #7 from Wolfgang Bauer <wbauer@tmo.at> --- @Nathan Wolf: Your crash is completely unrelated to the original report, and an incompatibility with Qt 5.14 (Leap 15.2 has 5.12). The fix for that (that you confirmed working) should actually be in Tumbleweed by now, I think. If not, it will be in the next snapshot. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

But as mentioned, I think it's likely not a bug in kdenlive anyway, but rather the result of missing codec support. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
