iptables-1.3.7-8.src.rpm is missing it in the %install section! Some modules henceforth don't get installed into %buildroot and are not packaged.
Where did you get iptables-1.3.7-8.src.rpm from? "It" is very generic, i thought you are referring to replacing KERNEL_DIR=/usr/src/linux with KERNEL_DIR="$KERNEL_DIR". Line [ -z "$KERNEL_DIR" ] && KERNEL_DIR="/usr/src/linux"; was indeed missing in %install section.
