http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1190130 Bug ID: 1190130 Summary: Installer reports wrong digest: checksum of openSUSE-release-...rpm does not match the expected one Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 15.3 Hardware: x86-64 OS: openSUSE Leap 15.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation Assignee: yast2-maintainers@suse.de Reporter: sebix+novell.com@sebix.at QA Contact: jsrain@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created attachment 852267 --> http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/attachment.cgi?id=852267&action=edit screenshot of error message I downloaded openSUSE-Leap-15.3-DVD-x86_64-Current.iso today (sha265 0deae0b74953acd951150ae9567e098d450f2ae91b2d0c0a610b9d934f91c7b1) and wanted to install it. After selecting the language, this error appears:
The expected checksum of file /var/adm/mount/.../x86_64/openSUSE-release-15.3-lp153.138.1.x86_84.rpm is e11ade11fe1135d3cb36bea37ac5b90da5f8702a5421e2d67ffb3f91c4af5c81, but the current checksum is e3b0c44298fc1c149afbf4c8996fb92427ae41e4649b934ca495991b7852b855.
The file has been changed by accident or by an attacker since the repository creator signed it. Using it is a big risk for the integrity and security of your system.
Use it anyway?

Maybe the reason was that the image was not completely written (but how did it work at all then?) - anyway - sorry for the noise -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
