[Bug 448374] scpm ignores "/etc/resolv.conf" when switching to another profile
http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=448374 User philippe.andersson@iba-group.com added comment http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=448374#c7 --- Comment #7 from Philippe Andersson <philippe.andersson@iba-group.com> 2009-10-05 02:40:50 MDT --- Further tests done over the week-end: - this bug manifest itself identically in both switching scenarios (i.e. both when selecting the desired profile at boot time by pressing [F3] in the grub menu and at runtime using the "System | Configuration | SUMF" applet). - /etc/resolv.conf is not the only file that's missed during the switch. The CUPS printer configuration isn't adapted either (even though that resource is also defined and "active" in the YaST SCPM configuration). *** Could you please increase the priority of this bug, as it severely limits the effectiveness of the SCPM utility ? Please feel free to contact me should you need extra debugging information or to run some tests.
