Or is it only about the speaker output? I see the headphone volume is relatively low. Better to raise once. For example, run like below % amixer -c0 set Headphone 0dB Also, try to turn on/off "External Amplifier" % amixer -c0 set "External Amplifier" mute or % amixer -c0 set "External Amplifier" unmute -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

HD-audio is just a big picture, and each hardware implementation gives different problem / workaround. It's something like like: "My text editor doesn't work on KDE", "Hey, mine doesn't work on Windows", and "Yeah, mine too on MacOS X". So, don't mix up things here. I close this bug as NORESPONSE. For each different machine, please open another bug. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
