[Bug 842904] New: /etc/sysctl.conf ignored
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=842904 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=842904#c0 Summary: /etc/sysctl.conf ignored Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Factory Version: 13.1 Beta 1 Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: werner@suse.com ReportedBy: jbohac@suse.com QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de CC: lnussel@suse.com, ro@suse.com Found By: Development Blocker: --- Systemd no longer processes /etc/sysctl.conf since this commit http://cgit.freedesktop.org/systemd/systemd/commit/?id=04bf3c1a60d82791e0320... Yet, the file still exists and YaST uses it to disable IPv6, for example. I believe the symlink described in the commit log should be created. /etc/sysctl.conf comes from aaa_base, I'm not sure if this should be fixed in aaa_base or systemd -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
