https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=645444 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=645444#c0 Summary: When starting digikam in a console several warnings are displayed Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: f.de.kruijf@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.2.10) Gecko/20100914 SUSE/3.6.10-30.2 Firefox/3.6.10 When starting digikam in a console I got the message of a missing package gstreamer0.10-plugins-good. After loading the package gstreamer0-10-plugins-good (note the dash in stead of the dot) this warning disappeared. The next message is about a missing library (part is in Dutch). digikam(3049)/KIPI (loading) KIPI::PluginLoader::Info::plugin: KIPI::PluginLoader:: createInstance returned 0 for "Rode ogen verwijderen" ( "kipiplugin_removeredeyes" ) with error: "Kan bibliotheek /usr/lib64/kde4/kipiplugin_removeredeyes.so niet laden: (libv4l1.so.0: kan gedeeld objectbestand niet openen: Bestand of map bestaat niet)" The file /usr/lib64/kde4/kipiplugin_removeredeyes does exist. First the file /usr/lib64/libv4l1.so.0 did not exist. I found it in the package libv4l1-0, which I forced to load again, after that it could be found. Next I started digikam again on the console now the message was: digikam(16171)/KIPI (loading) KIPI::PluginLoader::Info::plugin: KIPI::PluginLoader:: createInstance returned 0 for "Rode ogen verwijderen" ( "kipiplugin_removeredeyes" ) with error: "Kan bibliotheek /usr/lib64/kde4/kipiplugin_removeredeyes.so niet laden: (libv4l2.so.0: kan gedeeld objectbestand niet openen: Bestand of map bestaat niet)" Now file /usr/lib64/libv4l2.so.0 did not exist. I found it in the package libv4l2-0, which according to YaST was installed. I did a forced reload and now it can be found. Now the message is: digikam(24556)/KIPI (loading) KIPI::PluginLoader::Info::plugin: KIPI::PluginLoader:: createInstance returned 0 for "Rode ogen verwijderen" ( "kipiplugin_removeredeyes" ) with error: "Kan bibliotheek /usr/lib64/kde4/kipiplugin_removeredeyes.so niet laden: (libv4lconvert.so.0: kan gedeeld objectbestand niet openen: Bestand of map bestaat niet)" The story repeats itself, first the file was not there and after reloading the packet libv4lconvert the file was there. Finally loading digikam again the above errors do not appear anymore. The remaining messages are: ~> digikam QSqlDatabasePrivate::removeDatabase: connection 'ConnectionTest' is still in use, all queries will cease to work.
