https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=467951 Summary: Plasma clocks freeze if set to "local" Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: unspecified Platform: i386 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: opensourcecat@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; it; rv:1.9.0.5) Gecko/2008121300 SUSE/3.0.5-2.5 Firefox/3.0.5 You can see various plasma clock freezed if pointed to local time. If you set them to another time zone the clock starts to work again. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.add analog clock plasmoid to the desktop 2.enable time zones and set another (or more) time zones 3.use the mouse weel to pass trough time zones on the analog clock you put in the tesktop Actual Results: when in "Local" time zone the clock is freezed. If you pass from "Local" to another time zone it works again (you can see this more clearly if you set the second hand on). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

But for the analogue clock it did not work for me: kde4/share> grep Lokaal config/plasma-appletsrc defaultTimezone=Lokaal timezone=Lokaal If those are changed to Local the clock is no longer visible, although it seems to keep on running.... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

This with more luck :) It works now. I assume that I used local instead of Local the first time. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
