The last thing I see on the screen is a popup window from network manager, then the screen freezes. It's the update of drm-kmp containing a fix for old Intel GPUs. You may need to uninstall drm-kmp-default at first before installing this one. zypper rm drm-kmp-default zypper in drm-kmp-default*.rpm Then reboot and retest. If this still doesn't help, just uninstall drm-kmp-default package, reboot and retest.
