https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=270792 Summary: NFS Client fails to restore NFS directories mostly when Client PC has utilised Suspend to Disk Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: i586 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel AssignedTo: kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: alpha096@tpg.com.au QAContact: qa@suse.de NFS client often, however not 100% reliable, recognise exported NFS Server directories. This situation is most common when Suspend to Disk has been utilised AND more intermittently when Client Hard-boot is utilised. It is always correctable by opening YAST on the client PC and opening NFS Client and finishing without modification. There is slight hesitancy in stoping and re-starting the NFS Service. Yast files attached. Please advise if other are required. May need to re-clasify bug Component. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=270792 ------- Comment #5 from pavel@novell.com 2007-05-07 06:04 MST ------- If the problem happens without suspend-to-disk, too.... then it is unlikely to be suspend-to-disk problem. Who is doing NFS these days? And are you sure problem is in kernel, not in mount or yast or something? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
