Example: ~/.kde4/share/config/kcminputrc Acceleration=2 ->System Setting -> change acceleration to 1.6 -> apply ~/.kde4/share/config/kcminputrc Acceleration=1.6 -> reboot ~/.kde4/share/config/kcminputrc Acceleration=1.6 (OK) ->System Setting -> acceleration is 2.0 (strange) So mouse acceleration was working ok, System Setting wasn't. Since upgrading the whole desktop is not an option for me, could we try to find a workaround?
