My iwl4965 is also failing to connect to my 802.11g network (a Linksys WRT54GL
v1.1, using WPA2 Personal encryption).
Here's information from lspci and lsmod, and also a successful scan from
iwlist:
oceanview:~ # lspci |grep Wireless
03:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 4965 AG or AGN
Network Connection (rev 61)
oceanview:~ # lsmod |grep iwl4965
